On-site Gas Generation

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone produces gases on-site (nitrogen, hydrogen, liquid nitrogen), as opposed to purchasing tanks, etc?

I am in contact with a rep from a company that sells gas generators for labs, and once I know the usage across our institution, I can get a quote from the supplier. Until then, I was wondering if anyone has looked into this and whether it is a worthy investment?

We produce our own Nitrogen in one of our biomedical buildings.
