Warp It for lab equipment and consumables

Good afternoon.

We are exploring using Warp It as one stop platform to facilitate and capture all our rehoming activities [furniture, labs, IT?, maintenance, construction].

I am mostly aware of institutions using Warp It for furniture and only hears positive stories.

I would welcome a chat with Institutions/departments using Warp It [or equivalent platform] in an established manner for lab equipment and consumables, or having dicarded using Warp it after careful consideration or a negative trial.

Many thanks in advance.

Best,
Maggy

Dear Maggie,

we have regularly used WARP-IT for disposal. Sometimes parties say they are interested and then never pick the items up and other times everything goes like hot cakes.

There is a large take up from artists to re-use material or film production companies interested in props.

For more lab oriented recycling and asset resale or purchase:
oWasteless Bio - Reduce Reuse Innovate | Wasteless Bio
oHome - Colco Scientific secondhand laboratory equipment
oUniGreenScheme - The Asset Resale Service for Universities

we have used UniGreen scheme for buying and selling with good results.
