Intro and Invite to Sustainable Research Event 15-16th April 2026

Hi everyone,

I’m Vicki, a new coordinator in the Sustainable Research team at King’s College London — just a quick hello for those I haven’t met yet.

I wanted to share a quick reminder about the Sustainable Research spring event taking place at King’s on 15–16 April. Some of you may have already seen this, but we now have a fuller programme confirmed and it’s shaping up to be a really valuable couple of days.

In particular, the sessions on Thursday 16th will include:

  • Insights from colleagues across a range of UK institutions

  • Practical tools like carbon calculators

  • Updates on current sustainable research training and guidance

It should be a great chance to reconnect, share ideas, and hear what others are working on across the community.

If you’d like to join, there are still a few in-person spots available here. Otherwise, you’re very welcome to attend online, where you’ll also be able to take part in the live Q&A during the sessions.

Hope to see many of you there!

Victoria

You are welcome to attend either the morning or afternoon session, depending on your schedule.
