This sub-category is for sharing strategies, projects, and case studies on reducing the carbon impact of heating in research environments. Topics may include:

- Heat pumps (air, ground, and water source)

- District heating and shared energy systems

- Electrification of heating and phase-out of gas

- Heat recovery from labs, equipment, and data centres
